Hi, my name is Abbey Van Valkenburg. I was born and raised in Southwest Florida. I am currently teaching at the elementary school I attended as a child. I have been teaching for 6 years with experience in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade, but I am certified to teach up to sixth grade. Teaching is a strong passion of mine and I enjoy helping students meet their needs even after my day has ended. Teaching has been part of my family for generations. I have 2 young boys and an incredible husband who serves as a firefighter in our community. Tutoring has been a beautiful blessing to me and my family, I have now been tutoring for almost 2 years! I love watching students continue to learn and grow with me after school and over the summer!

I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations with 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
